WELCOME TO THOMAS COLLEGE
Our Lunder School of Education re-envisions teacher education
and provides opportunities to interact with local teacher leaders, recognized for their excellence in the field.
We know the sooner you’re in the classroom, the better. You’ll be in the classroom from your first year to your last with a total of over 920 hours of classroom experience, with opportunity for paid experiences such as substitute teaching.
At the Lunder School of Education, we teach you using the same methods you’ll use in the classroom. That means we inspire you to problem solve creatively and engage in self-directed learning on curriculum pathways including educational gaming design, student-centered inquiry learning, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics).

See What Students Had to Say
“During my four years at Thomas, I never felt like I was just a number. Professors were there to help and I also made sure to meet with tutors in the Student Success Center to get extra assistance with papers or assessments. There are a lot of resources for students!”
“Thomas was the perfect fit, close to home and a small community school. I started in the fall of 2018 and immediately felt at home. I have been a commuter all four years, but I never felt like an outsider. I think the most important thing over the last four has not been something I have done at Thomas, but rather something I have been able to do because of Thomas.”
